Reporting Manager: Senior Lawyer Role Purpose At Colt we are changing the perception of our business and industry sector. As part of this transformation we are growing new services and teams to facilitate and drive the business to the next level. This role reports to the Senior Lawyer and is to assist with a number and variety of Real Estate centric legal work, in particular, wayleaves. Key Accountabilities • Supports Colt's legal team in all aspects of delivering effective legal support • Mainly focused on European based legal matters, with a minority contingent of Indian legal matters • Provides hands-on commercial and legal support and advice • Drafts, reviews and negotiates a variety of contracts • Provides contract-management • Assesses disputes and evaluates Colt's legal position • Contributes to the updating of a suite of standard templates • Provides ad-hoc legal support and advice on a range of matters as required Role specific requirements Skills & Experience

• Acts as subject-matter expert in commercial legal matters across the organisation • Engages effectively with internal clients and provides support on legal matters as required • Provides sound commercial legal advice on a range of matters, including Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial and legal agreements, including wayleave agreements, telecoms carrier agreements,duct use/lease agreements, non-disclosure agreements, procurement agreements • Disputes with customers, suppliers and other parties • Contract Summaries, Press Releases etc., • Provides contract management for on going contractual relationships • Supports the legal team in updating and maintaining of frameworks and standards, including standard customer documentation • Manages workload and prioritises effectively • Sets clear and achievable expectations with internal customers • Proactively follows up on actions and deliverables • Delivers project completion in a timely and efficient manner Qualifications

  • 6 Months -2 years of relevant experience
  • Law Graduate
  • Language Fluency- In English (Verbal and Written)
