Clerical Administrator Intern - Ottawa - Summer 2024/Fall 2024

The Claims department is searching for a full-time intern/co-op student starting June 2024 to August 2024 with an opportunity for part-time work from September 2024 to December 2024 reporting to our Ottawa office.

We will count on you to:

  • Prepares various documents, reports, and materials for Claims Analysts;
  • Providing back-up to Claims Analysts while they are on vacation;
  • Assist the Claims Service Representatives in providing administrative support to the Claims Analyst;
  • Corresponds with Service Partners, Insureds, and Brokers;
  • Other related duties including but not limited to research and participating in small projects.

What you need to have?:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and must be bilingual (French and English).
  • College or University student, open to all majors and disciplines;
  • Some work experience in related field;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Word and Excel with strong keyboarding skills:
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a high attention to detail;
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Experience in web design, specifically SharePoint would be an asset.
