As an GBS Diversity & Inclusion intern your primary responsibilities will be:
The GBS D&I intern role will be responsible for supporting diversity & inclusion activities delivered from the GBS Transformation Services D&I.
· Support the execution of overall D&I initiatives
· Managing communications that come into mailboxes: Triage to the necessary team member for further follow up.
· Outlook Distribution List maintenance
· Assisting with content creation: Help in developing and editing written content for various platforms such as websites, social media, newsletters, and marketing materials.
· Social media management: Support the management of social media accounts by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, responding to comments, and analyzing social media metrics.
· Event planning and coordination: Assist in organizing and executing events, including venue selection, vendor management, logistics coordination, attendee registration, and on-site event support.
· Marketing campaign support: assisting in the implementation of marketing strategies.
· Copywriting and editing: Write and edit marketing materials, update SharePoint sites, newsletters, and promotional content.
· Design support: Assist in creating visually appealing marketing materials such as posters, flyers, social media graphics, and presentations using MS Suite.
· Data analysis: Assist in gathering and analyzing data from various channels such as website analytics, social media insights, and email marketing metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
· Reporting: Generate reports as needed.
· Team collaboration: Collaborate with team members across different departments on various projects, provide support as required, and contribute creative ideas to enhance communications and marketing initiatives.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
· Content creation and copywriting abilities
· Event planning and coordination skills
· Basic design skills for creating visually appealing marketing materials
· Creativity and problem-solving abilities
· Strong time management and multitasking skills
· Effective teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
