IT Service Management Intern - Part time for a student

We are looking for an IT service management intern who will assist our IT service delivery team in various tasks related to service level agreements (SLAs), IT service management (ITSM) frameworks, knowledge management, problem management, and communication. You will work closely with our IT service delivery managers, analysts, and specialists, as well as with other internal teams and stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the specific needs and expectations of our clients, who are mainly public sector organizations.


Who are you?

  • You are pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • You have basic knowledge IT service management (ITSM) frameworks such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • You are able to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues from different departments or teams.
  • You are willing to learn from peers and contribute to team objectives.
  • You have the capability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • You have attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting and adherence to SLAs.
  • You understand the importance of customer satisfaction in service delivery.
  • You are willing to learn about the specific needs and expectations of our clients.

What will you do?

  • You will follow up on knowledge feedback tasks, ensuring that the feedback is addressed and the knowledge articles are updated accordingly.
  • You will monitor communication and request channels, such as email, chat, and web portal, and escalate any issues or requests to the appropriate team or person.
  • You will perform quality checks of knowledge articles, verifying that they are clear, accurate, relevant, and consistent with the ITSM framework and the SLAs.
  • You will help with problem governance, in particular, follow up on aged tickets, and ensure that the root cause analysis and the problem resolution are documented and communicated.
