Associate Consultant

The main purpose of this role is to work with nominated Partner businesses to identify the scope of project support needed, referring businesses to the Business Consultant and supporting a business change plan that allows the Partner Practice to achieve their goals.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working to identify vision, unlock potential or analyse a specific area of the Partner Business, reporting on findings and formulating recommendations for improvement and/or implementing services to the Partner with the aim of improving the effectiveness of their business strategy, organisational performance, and operational processes.
  • Working with Partner Businesses to implement change plans to deliver quality and meaningful outcomes and Inspiring and encouraging appropriate strategy, operational activity and best practice.
  • Encouraging best practice in business planning, marketing, systems, people management, and administration to create a Partner or Adviser capable of achieving long-term growth and productivity.
  • Supporting Partners and Advisers in developing the infrastructure of their businesses, so that they maximise the efficiencies of the business and its processes.
  • Working independently and as part of the larger team to deliver objectives.

We are looking for someone who has CMI Level 5 Professional consultancy (or equivalent), ILP Level 5 Advanced Coaching or Mentoring (or equivalent and the following:

  • Well-developed relationship management skills including impactful “why” conversations.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels up to and including Partnership Director level
  • Good analytical and decision-making skills underpinned by informed sound judgement
  • Ability to organise time and workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify skills and knowledge shortfalls, provide constructive feedback and strong coaching/development skills.
