We are looking for a technical and data driven Data Support Analyst to join our Technology Division in the Technology Operations Team. You be responsible for supporting existing data processes and applications and responding to partner enquiries regarding Data Warehouse, Online Wealth Account, surrounding systems, and production of Management Information.
Data is a core SJP asset, but data can only be used if there is confidence that the data is accurate. The data support analyst must be able to analyse issues and propose solutions is such a way that the target user group is confident in the resolved data so internal SJP users can make business decisions.

What you’ll be doing?
- Analyses of data-related issues in client Wealth accounts or supporting systems, identification of root causes and provision of solution.
- Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to explore issues and solutions
- Communicating with our partner network on raised issues.
- Querying SJP data from a range of sources and producing reports or dashboards as required.
- Collaborating closely with third party data providers, including setting up and leading meetings as well as improving processes
Who are we looking for?
- Able to understand and write SQL for Microsoft SQL Server and be willing to improve their skills in this area.
- A working knowledge of Snowflake Data Cloud or be willing to transition to this technology.
- An understanding of ETL principles. Experience of SSIS, Talend, Matillion or similar tools an advantage but not essential.
- Be able to analyse issues and propose solutions is such a way that the target user group is confident in the resolved data.
- Analytical, adaptable, and able to problem solve.
- Understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes, especially incident management, or willing to learn.
