TransPride grand opening – July 29th 5 pm – 2 am with

Grand Opening

There will be various performances, speakers and acts in the Generator’s auditorium bar from 5:45pm to 8pm. At 8pm the festivities will continue at the Generator’s Ooster bar, where there will be various DJ’s and other performances for you to enjoy. 5 pm – 2 am Generator Nescio Auditorium Bar and Generator Ooster Bar

Transgender refugees discussion 

Transgender refugees will share their stories and experiences. 

We will discuss how we can help trans asylum seekers and refugees in their trajectory. Afterwards you are invited to join the welcome party. 8 pm – 2 am Generator Nescio Auditorium Bar and Generator Ooster Bar

Transgender suicide and suicide prevention event

TransPride Walk - Pride Oost

We will gather in front of the Generator, Oosterpark, at 2pm. At 3pm we’ll walk towards the

Pride East opening event at the Javasquare, accompanied by a music band and acts. During our walk we will hand out flowers to the public as a token of respect and love. We will remain at the final location, the Javasquare, where we will occupy an information stall. You are invited to come join the festivities, there will be interesting speakers and performances. 2 pm – 9 pm

Trans Art and Culture Fair + TransPride Party is held at the COC’s Shakespeare Club in the Amsterdam Museum. During the 1st day different types of workshops will be organized, like story writing, writing, poetry and scatting. Visit our presentations by transgender artists and transgender writers. Become a hero with our “Trans Hero” photoshoot and have yourself framed with your favorite Trans Hero. Furthermore on our 2nd day at Trans Art Culture Fair there will be TransPoetry, TransStory, TransTalent and Trans performances by poets, storytellers and many other talented people. There will also be plenty of time left to participate in the “Trans Hero” photoshoot. Finally join us during our TransPride party with our DJ. 2 pm – 10 pm
