Edoardo Ambrosi shared a video offering five reasons why joining the team at ABB could benefit job seekers. Focusing on their pioneering technological developments, as well as the sustainability aspects of their company, he describes why ABB is a great choice for graduates looking for a progressive, inclusive place to work.
Alonso Estrada, who came through ABB's GETP program, shared more about his experience and why it is a great place to learn and grow as a graduate.
1) GETP program for me was and still is one of the best experiences of my life it helped me to have friends from all over the world, learn about diverse cultures, understand how we work together and how we make things work because we have different ways of working. And most important we focus on achieving goals by adapting ourselves to our ways of thinking and open up to listen and learn from others.
2) ABB does an amazing job about the value CARE with the employees also related to the life-work balance and you can see, live, and feel all the values of the company with everyone.
3) Leaders are always challenging you and making you grow in the company, I’ve seen this not only in Mexico but also when talking with people from Poland, Switzerland, South Africa, China and US, I get the same challenges and support whenever I need it.
4) You get to know different cultures by living them with the global program, this helps you to adapt fast to many situations not only in a personal way but also professionally, you learn how to approach people from different parts of the world.
5) ABB has one of the best programs to help you develop as the GETP is but also you create your own path, this is important because you can try many different tasks and in my case helped me to take a risk and took ownership of two global services as the point of contact and now is part of my daily tasks after finishing the GETP.
