H&M launches Pride collection for summer
The Swedish retailer, H&M, have launched a special Pride collection of summer clothes. The “Pride Out Loud” campaign will include crop tops, shorts, sweatshirts, cut-off jeans, fanny packs and more, taking inspiration from the 1970s. Each item comes in a variety of pastel colours and some will feature printed messages like ‘Equality’ or ‘Pride’. 10 percent of proceeds will go to the United Nations Human Rights Office Free and Equal campaign.
Models for the campaign include Drag Race star Aja, winter Olympian Gus Kenworthy, and pop singer Kim Petras, among many others.
“H&M believes in everybody’s right to love who they want,” said Andreas Lowenstam, H&M’s head of men’s wear design. “We hope people can use H&M’s Pride collection to celebrate their belief in equal love.”
