RuPaul's Netflix Series Trailer Is Out

RuPaul is set to star in a new Netflix series ‘AJ and the Queen’ and the trailer is out now. RuPaul plays character Ruby Red, a “bigger-than-life but down-on-her-luck drag queen” traveling across America accompanied by an 11-year-old orphan called AJ, ‘Gay Times’ report.


“Every episode, RuPaul will visit a drag club and perform a “killer musical number” which we witness here in the first official teaser. She channels her inner Divina De Campo with a red wig and silver dress as she prepares to hit the stage,” the article states.

The multiple Emmy Award-winner wrote and executive-produced the show alongside Michael Patrick King, the writer, director, and producer of iconic series ‘Sex and the City’.

AJ and the Queen will premiere 10 January on Netflix – watch the trailer below.
