The UK’s First LGBT+ TV Channel, OUTtv, Is Launching Next Week
The UK’s first dedicated LGBT+ TV channel, OUTtv, is launching next week. OUTtv describes itself as “the only lifestyle tv-network for the gay and openminded in Europe”.
According to it’s UK website OUTtv will include “international successful TV-programs, exciting LGBT series, raw reality shows, inspiring documentaries, hysterical telenovella’s, gay romcom’s, award winning movies and OUT originals.”
Specifically, OUTtv will feature Ru Paul-hosted gameshow Gay For Pay, reality show Shade-Queens Of NYC and a new documentary Being Divine, among others.
OUTtv is already available in some European countries, such as the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium and Germany.
As ‘Sports Mole’ reports, in the UK OUTtv will be available April 1st on Sky (channel 330) and available as an add-on for £9.99/month. Annual subscriptions are available for purchase at £99, through out.tv website.
