Material Handler - 1st Shift - Receiving


In Albuquerque we manufacture underground cable connections and accessories for the electrical distribution grid as well as fault circuit indicators and current sensors. Our industry leading Elastimold and Fisher Pierce products are used to connect, ground, splice, terminate, and protect underground power cables. Products manufactured in Albuquerque are integral connective pieces of a resilient power grid.

Your responsibilities

  • Manages the locating/storing of material, pulling material for building our products. Involved in storeroom incoming and outgoing of materials
  • Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals ma-chine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
  • Pulling inventory and moving stock and other materials to fulfil orders
  • Manages material counts/location in coordination with storekeeper, ensuring correct inventory
  • Manages receipts and issues of the raw material and manufactured components

Your background

  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Forklift certification is required but will train to obtain certification
  • Prior manufacturing experience not required
  • Ability to lift to 40lbs and perform push/pull functions
  • Can work up to 20 hours of overtime to meet Business Objectives
  • Can work a weekend schedule as needed
