Test Engineer Intern
ABB Drives is a global supplier of high-power, high-performance drives, drive systems, and packages for industrial processes and large infrastructure applications. ABB Drives Estonia in Jüri is looking for a Test Engineer Intern. In this role, your responsibilities include familiarizing yourself with different product types, becoming adept at using daily needed tools, and actively supporting Test Engineers in various projects.
Your responsibilities
- Review and modify existing data handling programs for fan testing.
- Assist in calculating and estimating Airflow (AF) based on test parameters.
- Collaborate with the test engineering team on assigned tasks related to fan testing.
- Gain exposure to different product types, familiarize yourself with tools, and actively support test engineers in various projects.
- Be open to teamwork and ready to gain a lot of new knowledge.
Your background
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
- Self-motivated, comfortable working in a team environment or on your own
- Knowledge of Python is preferred
- Demonstrable detail orientation, problem analysis, and systematic troubleshooting skills
- Must want to work with technology and be a hands-on person
- Good written and spoken English skills
