Sr PM Centralization

In Flex delivery model, Amazon works directly with independent contractors - called delivery partners - to make deliveries to our customers. With Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages.
As a Sr. Program Manager on the Amazon Flex Team at Central Operations, you will be responsible for creating a road map to drive game changing process improvements and results in a specific area of ownership. Areas include cost, productivity, driver experience, labor planning, quality and capacity. To achieve your goals, you will work with functions that cut across the organization; including but not limited to data science, technology, operations, and marketing. You will partner closely with our business and field partners to understand their goals and build plans that allows Flex to not only meet their needs but exceed their expectations.

Key job responsibilities
-Own the long-term road map for improving business results
-Develop and utilize data inputs and KPI's to inform operational adjustments
-Develop projects and programs that improve the Flex delivery partner network across Amazon last mile not just in North America, Canada and Mexico but also world wide and launch new initiatives through innovation within these spaces.
-Work closely with multiple teams of program/product/tech/operations and Senior leadership across data science, technology, operations, and marketing to improve the delivery partner experience.
-Make difficult resource trade-offs and align leadership on inputs, outputs, and priorities.
Identify, develop, and implement processes and mechanisms to improve Flex program performance, including working cross-functionally with internal teams to support the continuous improvement of tools and processes across the organization.
-Exercise excellent business judgement while deep diving input metrics to proactively identify, action, and/or provide advice on how to drive growth, improve delivery partner experience, and close the gap to goal.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 7+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
