DESCRIPTION:
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
Annapurna Labs, as part of AWS, is looking for an IT System Student to join the DevOps team.
As IT System Student you'll be part of the DevOps team and share responsibilities with junior DevOps engineer.
Take part in the development of cutting-edge products within disruptive system architecture. You'll have the opportunity to work on the technologies that power the world's largest Cloud provider, within a dynamic, open, and fast-paced environment. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• BSc student of Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering (with at least 3 semesters left before graduation). Please include a grade sheet with your CV in a single PDF.
• Basic network knowledge.
• Experience with programming on Python or bash/PowerShell scripting or other scripting languages.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to deal with hardware on all levels from laptop's (mainly OS and application troubleshooting) and up to servers and LAB's equipment.• Basic technical knowledge in storage technology.
• Linux and Windows OS knowledge on basic level.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Team player for DevOps team and for others company teams and external customers.
