Senior Manager, Product Management Tech, Amazon Global Logistics

DESCRIPTION:

Amazon Global Logistics (AGL) is responsible for the transportation of billions of products into and between Amazon fulfillment centers, both domestically and across borders. Hundreds of thousands of Amazon Selling Partners (SP), including Vendors and Sellers, rely on AGL to pick up when we say we will, transport freight securely, and deliver on time.

The AGL Product team is seeking a leader to help develop the vision for our integrated supply chain offerings and to build a team that oversees its strategic product implementation. This role will partner with teams across Amazon Stores, such as Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA), as well as with cross-functional stakeholders including Operations and Sales & Marketing, to build end-to-end supply chain solutions that simplify global logistics for our SPs, and ultimately, improve the Amazon customer experience.

The ideal candidate has experience with logistics or supply chain and relevant technologies (e.g. APIs), and a strong product management background. They are able to drive high-level strategic initiatives but can also roll up their sleeves to get the job done. Strong business judgment, analytical skills, the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders, as well as a creative, customer-driven mindset are essential.

The role requires an accomplished People Manager who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, can prioritize effectively, and understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, talented, team. Strong communication skills and business ownership are critical. This role will work with various teams across the Amazon supply chain in multiple geographies, so we are looking to develop a central coordinated strategy through a strong product management and supply chain leader who thrives in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic environment to own the end-to-end strategy.

We are seeking a leader with deep expertise in building a vision from the ground up, working across Amazon to execute cross-organizational and cross-functional goals, and launching complex and novel products and processes.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and deliver near/long-term product vision for suite of key initiatives
- Drive project planning through detailed roadmaps and milestone tracking
- Ensure appropriate coordination and communication with relevant business and cross functional stakeholders
- Understand business customer needs through direct customer interactions, benchmarking, and consumer research
- Lead a team of Product and Program Managers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 5+ years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- MBA
- Experience engaging and influencing senior executives.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
