Are you in the final phase of your law studies and curious about our practice? Then a student internship would be an excellent opportunity to get to know Clifford Chance. We are currently looking for a Student-Trainee within our Employment & Pensions team!
The Employment & Pensions team is a group of ten collaborative and ambitious lawyers and consists of a Partner, two Counsels, a Senior Advisor, two Senior Associates, two Associates and two trainee lawyers. The team advises on various matters such as hiring and terminating agreements with CEOs and other senior executives, reviewing of, and advising on, remuneration policies and investigations on #Metoo and integrity. The Employment & Pensions team does so in addition to other strategic employment and pensions advice on incentive plans, (cross-border) reorganizations and restructurings, disputes with works councils, employee related data protection work, complex transfer of undertaking issues, pensions issues and outsourcing. The team supports a great variety of clients ranging from some of the largest private equity firms, global conglomerates and tech companies. The team has a close collaborative nature, where ambition and innovation go hand in hand with lots of fun and focus on personal development.
Clifford Chance offers you the opportunity to join the Employment & Pensions team for two months. During these two months, you will be guided by a mentor and a buddy, who will familiarize you with the office. You will participate fully in the daily practice, join all team meetings and work together with lawyers from different areas of expertise. You will be involved in preparing notes, correspondence and opinions, going along to meetings, making translations and doing research for the lawyers within Employment & Pensions team.
In addition to the above you will have the opportunity to participate in our internal training activities. And of course, you are also invited to participate in the social activities organized by our office. In this way you will not only get a good idea of the nature and content of the work, but also get an idea of the atmosphere and the people who work with us.
A student internship is an essential step in eventually starting your career at Clifford Chance as an advocaat-stagiaire.

Requirements
Are you ambitious and venturous and would you like to work within the top of the international legal profession? Are you in the master phase or final phase of your bachelor studies in Dutch law? Then we are looking for you!
Student trainees receive a compensation of EUR 750 per month. We will also reimburse your lunch expenses and travel costs (based on public transport, second class), to the extent not covered by a public transport card.
