Lead Product Manager, Attribution

About the Product Area:

Stores is one of the fastest growing areas in eBay which in some ways, will define the future of eBay. eBay has always been a marketplace where sellers can not just grow their business but also grow their brand. eBay is reemphasizing this product strategy with the goal to become our seller's platform of choice.

About the Team:

Our Stores team works on elevating the seller presence in the entire eBay experience e2e and in helping our sellers build a community of buyers on ebay. We are looking to bring human commerce to eBay and become the platform that sellers choose to grow their business on. Part of this strategy is to determine how we can leverage and partner with 3rd party developers to accelerate the value we provide to our sellers. 

About the Role:

We are looking for passion for discovery & deploying innovative products. You will be responsible for building out real time attribution logic to identify how buyers are coming to eBay and to our sellers stores on eBay.

You will launch to production an initial version of this real time attribution this summer/fall and iterate quickly with future releases. Your work will become the foundation of our eBay stores monetization strategy. 

You will work cross functionally with partners in each market to ensure that our product and GTM approach lines up tightly.

  • Develop a strategy & roadmap for real time traffic attribution & reporting for ebay stores

  • Work with engineering team to deliver and execute on the roadmap

  • Work with cross functional teams including customer services to ensure quality customer experience

  • Work with regional teams & product marketing to build an appropriate GTM plan


  • MS in Computer Science, MBA or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in launching, scaling or growing real time traffic attribution or monetization products 

  • Experience in launching new products across global markets

  • Strong analytical skills & quantitative problem-solving skills, ability to synthesize data and make decisions based on data

  • Superior communication & presentation skills. Demonstrate the ability to quickly synthesize information, structure a concise, clear presentation of findings to an executive audience

  • Strong product & business acumen to understand broad implications of building an app store or a developer ecosystem

  • 8+ years of related work experience

  • Proven success in partnering, influencing, and collaborating internally and externally to establish shared passion and goals.
