About the team and the role:

eBay is seeking a dedicated and dynamic product marketer to drive inbound product marketing and outbound go to market strategy for new platform features. This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of the eBay marketing team redefining how we bring eBay's products to market. This role will be critical in establishing an important company-wide function, skill and capability. The successful candidate is an experienced product marketer in e-commerce or two-sided tech networks.

What you will accomplish:

  • Influence product roadmaps by synthesizing market, customer and competitive insights, build audience segmentations and opportunity sizing.

  • Create customer feedback loops during the product and marketing development process.

  • Develop product value propositions, narratives, naming and external facing proof points.

  • Manage product launches and ensure customer adoption of new features via in-product content, marketing and communications, customer service, and in-market / sales channels.

  • Track internal product market fit tracking metrics; synthesize customer feedback to provide signal amidst the noise across the product life cycle: development, launch, and optimization / expansion.

  • Establish repeatable best practices that can scale across product marketing, enabling all product marketers to work in a fast-paced environment, using qualitative and quantitative market and customer insights to grow the impact of product marketing launches.

  • Project manage your work while measuring key metrics for success

What you will bring:

  • Deep experience in product marketing

  • Strong track record of developing product and go to market strategies at e-commerce shopping, advertising, payments and/or financial services companies

  • Proven track record to drive innovation, implement projects with excellence, building new organizations

  • Success working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and excellent communication skills

  • Strong data analysis skills and experience with customer research techniques

  • Experience launching new products / services and growing in market adoption to be successful

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$126,800 - $187,550

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
