The Program Operations Manager for the US Refurbished Category Team is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and improving the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the program. This role involves managing high-impact projects and diverse workstreams to ensure the successful delivery and maintenance of eBay's refurbished program both in the US and globally.

What you will accomplish:

  • Strategic Program Leadership: Optimize team bandwidth and focus by streamlining operations and reducing horizontal dependencies. Ensure that team efforts are aligned with business objectives, enhancing overall productivity and impact.

  • Operational Excellence: Manage multiple warehousing strategies to support inventory distribution and ensure efficient logistics operations, contributing to an enhanced buyer and seller experience.

  • Enhanced Customer Solutions: Lead all aspects of initiatives such as program validations/vetting and warranty enhancements to ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and trust in our refurbished products.

  • Program Governance and Compliance: Maintain meticulous program governance across all channels and ensuring compliance with necessary environmental and regulatory constraints.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Communications, Product, Business Development, and Legal teams to drive program initiatives and ensure cohesive strategy implementation.

  • Global Support and Expansion: Focus on maintaining and expanding the eBay Refurbished program in the US while providing support for global market integrations.

  • Innovative Marketing and Events: Spearhead involvement in major marketing initiatives and events to promote the refurbished category and engage with a broader audience.

  • Committee Leadership: Drive eBay culture and foster a positive and engaging work environment, enhancing team morale and promoting a culture of inclusivity and collaboration.

What you will bring

  • Proven experience in program management and operations within the technology or eCommerce sector.

  • Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives from concept to execution, delivering tangible results.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence collaborators at all levels.

  • Strong analytical approach, paired with a knack for problem-solving and process optimization.

  • Experience in product lifecycle management and agile methodologies.

  • A deep understanding of customer experience strategies and site merchandising best practices.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, GDocs).

  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
