As an addition to our Finance Team, we are looking for a Senior Strategic Performance Manager (d/f/m).
We offer this role in a full-time or part-time capacity, depending on availability of the ideal candidate.
In this role, you report to the head of FP&A and are involved in top-level strategic decision making which means to us to
Apply a financial and strategic lense when assessing on future growth initiatives for mobile.de
Monitor consumer and competitive landscape and update the leadership team and other important partners regularly
Scan the market for M&A opportunities and assess them in a structured way
Work closely with the mobile.de CFO, GM and eBay Classifieds Business leaders
Build business cases based on scope of work and resource requirements, monitoring project progress and make adjustments as needed
Own recurring reporting processes to mobile.de and eBay Classifieds leadership, like regular Business reviews
Use data, metrics and business cases to craft convincing stories and communicate them in a creative, visually appealing and concise way to senior leaders
Influence important planning processes, like strategic reviews, annual company objective definition, Budget planning and long-term Business plans
Develop a strong understanding of operational Finance processes and link these to strategic decision making
You will successfully align critical initiatives with internal partners across the business and will make execution proposals to the mobile.de leadership team. A wealth of experience in navigating complex topics in a corporate environment makes you the ideal candidate for this role. We appreciate excellent communication and visualization skills and a collaborative approach to work. This will show in close collaboration and the establishment of positive relationships with parties across the organization. Your strong skills in successfully navigating complex situations will allow us to find the right balance between structured processes a need for pragmatic solutions and fast decision making.
7+ years experience in Finance or Strategy, M&A or investment banking
Results-oriented problem solving combined with strong execution skills - your good business judgement is combined with an ability to tackle problems creatively
Sound experience with financial modeling as well as visually presenting your results
Thanks to your excellent analytical skills, you have a track record of seeing initiative through the full life cycle
Independent working style and ability to own and complete projects in line with outlined scope and timeline
An outcome oriented attitude and a strong will to focus and commit drives success in our organisation
Capable of operating in a dynamic, ambitious and complex environment across multiple teams, you successfully balance multiple priorities
You assess your collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills as excellent
Fluency in English, German is a plus
