Vendor Funds Systems Analyst

Ferguson has an exciting opportunity available for a Vendor Funds Systems Analyst! This role will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the systems used in the management of the Vendor Rebate, DC Reconciliation and Branch Claimback programs.

Location:

This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid in Newport News, VA, in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, map, and enter Ferguson corporate vendor agreements into Vendor Rebates application.
  • Analyze and categorize SKUs based on vendor rebate program parameters.
  • Assist in creation of Vendor Funds programs to ensure that agreements are clear and understood by all parties.
  • Handle ongoing maintenance of Vendor Rebates application.
  • Develop, publish, and schedule interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
  • Use Power BI as the catalyst for data analytics.
  • Diagnose report issues and tune performance.
  • Communicate status, issues, and opportunities to Category Management and Finance toward the goal of optimizing the benefit of each assigned program.
  • Troubleshoot, and act upon, the root cause of any failure across all of Vendor Funds technical solutions.
  • Design and develop reporting to be used across all teams in Vendor Funds department.
  • Perform business process mapping for all teams in Vendor Funds department.
  • Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company.
  • Work overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or similar subject area with analytical bias strongly preferred.
  • 1-3 years experience in data analytics, systems or related field.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Experience with SQL and working with relational data sources across varying database platforms.
  • Medium to sophisticated knowledge of Excel, Access, VBA, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Must have positive, results-focused demeanor.
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative and creative solutions to business problems. Encourages and expects others to think dynamically and not be limited by existing methods and procedures.
  • Able to function independently and with minimal mentorship.
  • Experience with tools providing insight through data visualization.
  • Must possess superb interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service oriented, with focus on accurate and timely delivery.
  • Fundamental knowledge of all aspects in Ferguson's supply chain process preferred if internal candidate, including but not limited to purchasing, DC sales, branch sales to customer.

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate's qualifications and prior experience.

$3,375.00 - $6,325.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
