Job Description

Specific Education & Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with a BA or BS degree in Chemistry or Biology.
  • 3+ years of experience with MS degree in Chemistry or Biology.

Specific Job Responsibilities:

Manages the analytical training program for Foster City Analytical Operations (FC-AO) through the following activities:

  • Manage the ongoing effectiveness and compliant status of the Training System within Foster City Analytical Operations (FC-AO).
  • Design and maintain role-based, technique and method specific training requirements and associated curricula, including procedural/read and understand, instructor-led and On-the-Job Training (OJT) items.
  • Develop training plans for new and existing staff based on their assigned roles and responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain training content and procedures to enhance the compliance and or technical competency of FC-AO staff and support execution of GMP activities.
  • Collaborate with internal (FC-AO) and external (PDM QA Training, Document Control, CXO’s) customers and stakeholders as needed to ensure alignment and effectiveness of training initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate AOS and cross-functional projects
  • Participate as needed in investigation activities to determine role of training/human performance factors in discrepancy events. Identify and collaborate to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Use metrics to determine training effectiveness and identify trends.
  • Work with Regulatory & Quality Assurance to ensure that all applicable FDA regulations are followed and properly documented
  • Provide expertise in areas of responsibilities and counsel to and on behalf of the organization
  • Apply knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) concepts on a daily basis
