Finance Business Partner 12 Month FTC

As the Finance Business Partner, you will gain experience at a fast paced, high volume FMCG manufacturing site across a broad range of finance and business partnering areas.

The site finance team are the primary finance interface with the business, maximising the ability to build relationships. Key responsibilities will include: month end, reporting & analysis, standard costing, decision support, CAPEX management, and compliance & controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will post month end journals where appropriate via Cadency system
• You will development and management of appropriate performance reports to ensure the P&L drivers & drainers are clearly understood by the SLT and broader business so that appropriate actions can be taken to manage the business accordingly
• You will meet with budget holders, to review and challenge variances to budget/forecast on expenditure and headcount, manage the year to go forecast and assist them in meeting their year-end targets
• You will educate and challenge Budget Holders on financial aspects of business decisions and resource allocations.
• You will provide reports on Cost of Poor Quality, Material Usage Variance, Quality, Headcount, OPEX and Overtime.
• You will support, analysis and input throughout the annual standard costing process
• You will be responsible for the review and approval of all ad-hoc standard costing of materials and finished goods outside of the annual standard costing process
• You will be responsible for the review and approval of all capex project and asset capitalisation forms.
• You will be responsible for performing all R2R related Internal Control Framework controls (ICFW). Attend and participate in the monthly ICFW Council Meetings
• You will respond to audit queries regarding these controls.
• You will Support and contribute to the site annual planning and forecasting processes as required
• You will build and maintain strong business relationships across the site leadership team and operational teams.

Why You?Basic qualifications:
• Proficient financial knowledge of modelling, analysis, evaluation, and forecasting
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and across a matrixed environment
• Good interpersonal skills demonstrated by creation of a network of key partners within Finance and the Maidenhead Site, and the ability to bridge communications gap between finance and non-finance
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks within a project using project management skills
• Finance / business degree or professional accountancy qualification
• Understanding of systems and processes as they affect the financial results MERP/SAP; COGNOS; BISON; IPT an advantage
• Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with SAP and SAP BI
