Drive the Future - Back Office Intern

The internship program participants will join the J.P. Morgan team in Chile and will receive several trainings & coaching to develop professional skills while experiencing our inclusive culture led by our principles: Service, Hearth, Curiosity, Courage and Excellence. 

We are looking for students who  are eager  to  learn, proactive,  creative,  curious and  self-initiated. This is a full-time intern role, that has a duration of 1 year to , and is our main talent pipeline for analyst roles. 

As a Back Office Intern within CIB Operations, you will be responsible for the daily processing of transactions, settlement confirmation, document processing and chasing of their needed due diligence within the specified timelines and generation of regulatory reports. You will work closely with the other operations team to ensure the correct E2E of all trades, as well as the business, other LOBs and external counterparties for the proper coordination and delivery of all the needed tasks.
 
Job responsibilities:  
  • Generation and tracking of trade confirmation documents, mainly derivatives agreements.
  • Generation and validation of regulatory reports to the CMF, Central Bank and other entities.
  • Daily confirmation of settlement amounts for Swap trades.
  • Active participation in projects to improve the ops flow as well as industry changes.
  • Implementation of Innovation through tech tools oriented to users.
 Required qualifications, skills and capabilities: 
  • Have a career within Business and Finance.
  • Be able to work 100% from on site, no remote working capabilities are available for the position.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office Tools, specially Excel. Knowledge of other tech platforms and coding is a plus.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Must be a team player and detail-oriented.
