Junior Software Engineer for Search – Part time for a student
We’re looking for students of Czech Universities, who are interested in a long-term collaboration with MSD.

Interning as a Junior Software Engineer for search you will:
- Improve monitoring and operations, daily checking of failed jobs + solving unexpected issues
- Helping with ingest process
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle of our Search engine - helping with development of simple components
- Help with preparation of releases of software components
- Contribute to new ways of improving search relevancy
What should you know / have:
- Being a student of Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Experience with Basic Java and Shell scripting
- Batch processing
- Basic experience with Agile development with CI/CD, Gitflow, Jira, Confluence
- Be proactive, open-minded and easy going
What will you do / learn:
- You will be working with a team of senior developers that are happy to share their knowledge and help you grow in your career
- You will be working on a global, company wide search engine
- You will have the opportunity to learn about many technologies, such as AI, Natural Language Processing, search, etc.
