Salesforce Developer - Intern

Job Summary:

Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the development and customization of Salesforce applications in Marketing/Sales/Service/Digital Experience Cloud. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building and maintaining Salesforce solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the success of the organization's Salesforce implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce Development:
    • Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of custom Salesforce solutions.
    • Work with senior developers to implement new features or enhance the functionalities based on business requirements.

    2. Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with system analysts to understand the requirements.
    • Work closely with the development team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.

    3. Testing and Debugging:

    • Conduct unit testing of developed solutions to ensure functionality meets specifications.
    • Identify and troubleshoot issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in Salesforce applications.

    4. Documentation:

    • Document code, configurations, and development processes to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation for Salesforce customizations.

    5. Learning and Development:

    • Stay informed about the latest Salesforce features, updates, and best practices.
    • Actively participate in training sessions and seek opportunities for self-improvement.

    6. Adherence to Best Practices:

    • Follow coding and development best practices to ensure the scalability, security, and maintainability of Salesforce solutions.
    • Adhere to organizational coding standards and guidelines.

    7. Communication:

    • Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to team members and stakeholders.

    8. Process

    • Knowledge on Software Development Life Cycle.
    • Knowledge on Software Development tools.

    Qualifications:

    • Currently pursuing Bachelors or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Certified in Salesforce Administration/Salesforce Sales Cloud/Salesforce Service Cloud/Platform Developer
    • Badges on Trailhead
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a dynamic environment.
