Accounts Payable/Sr Site Payments Associate - Healthcare Industry

*Full Time (FTE 1.0)

Position Summary
Provides senior administrative, reporting, contractual and financial support to the department related to the processing of payments to investigative sites. Responsibilities include data compilation, issue/risk resolution, ensuring adherence to contractual guidelines and country regulations, and providing training and guidance to junior team members.

Essential Functions
  • Financeor clinical background.
  • Must have at least 3 years of investigate site payment experience.
  • Musthave at least 3years previous experience in the healthcare field or researchadministration or direct investigator site payment experience and oversight ofthird-party vendors.
  • Familiarwith clinical trials, protoco ls and contracts, preferably also with payments.
  • Atleast 3 years general knowledge of drug development and ICH/GCP.
  • Experiencewith data entry, excel and SAP.
  • Experiencewith clinical site payments.
  • Understandscontractual terms and conditions surrounding budget schedules.
  • Familiaritywith clinical research activities.
  • Understandsand has experience in financial reconciliations.
  • Understandingof key budget management and quality control concepts.
  • Financebackground strongly preferred.
  • DirectPharma or CRO experience preferred.
  • Musthave technical skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Remote Meeting Networks.


Job Qualification:

Education and Experience
  • Must have at least 3 years previous experience in the healthcare field or research administration or direct investigator site payment experience and oversight of third-party vendors.
  • Finance Background STRONGLY Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Familiar with clinical trials, protocols and contracts, preferably also with payments.
  • At least 3 years general knowledge of drug development and ICH/GCP.
  • Experience with data entry, excel and SAP.
  • Know Site Payment Systems, RAVE, IMPACT, IVRS
  • Experience with clinical site payments.
  • Understands contractual terms and conditions surrounding budget schedules
  • Familiarity with clinical research activities.
  • Understands and has experience in financial reconciliations.
  • Understanding of key budget management and quality control concepts.
  • Must have technical skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Remote Meeting Networks
  • Requires analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Can investigate payment issues and find resolution.
  • Can work cross-functionally (Resource will be interacting with internal study team and CRO payment specialists).
  • Ability to manage a dynamic and flexible workload.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Independent worker but also team player.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation administrative and computer skills.
  • Travel not anticipated but could be requested on a limited basis.
