Summarized Purpose:  Supervises a small team of technical support staff within a given information technology discipline such as Desktop Services, Network Communications, etc.  Delivers technology solutions in a collaborative cross-functional environment.  Responsible for supervisory duties necessary to develop staff and deploy technical solutions meeting the needs of the business.

Essential Functions:


• Provides work direction and supervision to assigned
technical support staff.
• Ensures service levels and quality of service business
objectives are being met, customer service quality and positive interfaces with customers.
•  Provides progress updates to IT leaders and aligns IT with business.

Education and Experience: 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 5 years).

1 year of leadership responsibility

• Must be able to multi task and pay close attention to detail
• Excellent people management skills.
