Job Title: Integration Specialist (BT M&A Integrations)

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Salesforce is seeking an Integration Specialist to automate business process, UI workflows, data integration and validation. These integrations have a merger & acquisition (M&A) focus and are mission ­critical to the success of Go-to-Market (GTM) and Business Operations. The ideal candidate must have solid Salesforce configuration, implementation and administration ability. You should also have proven experience in scripting and/or UI development.

To be successful at this position you must be a self­-starter, take accountability, speak up, work at a quick pace, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while keeping a good sense of humor. You must possess good oral and written skills and be able to collaborate effectively with other team members. Contribute ideas and provide feedback on how to continually improve the way we innovate solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in discovery and design sessions

  • Implement approved designs to meet integration requirements

  • Write, execute and maintain new & existing integrations between internal/external applications. Being mindful to include automated unit tests

  • Understands all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to ongoing releases

  • Comfortable developing non-Salesforce UI interactions such as Slack BOT, Web forms, CSV data parsing, email notifications, etc.

  • Assist with Salesforce platform administrative tasks including managing user access, sharing model, creation and maintenance of custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, workflows, process builder and Lightning flows, validation rules and troubleshooting of Apex and integrations

  • Partner closely with the BT M&A Business Architect, Product Managers, Deal Leads, QA Staff and other Business Technology teams to execute M&A integration projects

  • Implement monitoring services to proactively identify integration issues

  • Maintain updated system documentation and Salesforce policies/procedures

  • Maintain and demonstrate 100% compliance with all written security policies, SOX procedures, and change management controls

Required Skills:

  • 4-6 years of Salesforce application development with a minimum 300-seat environment handling all aspects of CRM, case management and platform maintenance

  • 3+ years of experience programming or supporting Triggers, Apex Code, Visualforce / Lightning pages & Analytics

  • Expert knowledge on Salesforce implementations, including design patterns, release management, deployment strategies, and testing best practices

  • Experience with Salesforce developer toolkit including Force.com IDE, App Builder, Process Builder, Migration Tool and data migration tools like data loader, workbench, etc.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce's Web Services, APIs, SOQL, SOSL and security model, working with large datasets and understanding data modeling

  • Experience consuming open and/or private APIs / RestAPIs, such as Slack, Workday, Salesforce.com, and Google

  • Proven hands-on Web UI Development experience in at least two languages: node.js, Python, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Java, other scripting languages

  • Familiar with UI development concepts such as webhooks, model-view-controller (MVC), HTTPS (SSL/TLS), Responsive Design

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills and the ability to interact with all level of stakeholders, support personnel, and clients

  • Good project management skills with ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups using Agile Methodology.

  • Must be a self-starter, willing to learn new technologies such as Slack, Mulesoft, Heroku, and be a Salesforce trailblazer who thrives on working in fast-paced environment

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related technical field

Required at least one of the following certifications:

  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator

  • Salesforce Platform App Builder

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I

  • Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud Consultant

Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in Slack UI development a plus

  • Proficiency in Object Oriented design and programming

  • Experience with API Integration Platforms like Mulesoft, Tableau, Heroku

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus

  • Salesforce Application Architect Certification
