What you’ll be doing…

The Senior Content Specialist is responsible for delivering the customer references program in EMEA tied to marketing priorities and events across the region. The Senior Specialist will work closely with our customers as well as our sales and marketing teams, including events, creative, industry and product marketing teams, to identify and deliver customer stories that demonstrate the value that Tableau delivers to a business.

Some of the things you’ll be doing include…

  • Build strong relationships with our customers and work with them to share their stories, including speaking engagements, case studies, videos, webinars, press and analyst opportunities.

  • Work closely with Salesforce, Tableau events, public relations, analyst relations, sales enablement, organic paid social teams and demand generation teams to highlight Tableau customers in marketing channels and materials.

  • Drive innovation in the way our customers stories are told across the region, working with our suppliers to find new and interesting ways to showcase the value of Tableau

  • Ensure the quality and consistency of the customers stories delivered across the region

  • Work with events and engagement teams on customer marketing engagement opportunities including events, videos or interviews, and other activities.

  • Oversee customer content pipeline, working closely with writers, internal reviewers, and customers to bring content to publication and ensuring a flow of strong stories into the pipe

  • Ensure the presence of EMEA customers at a global level within key Tableau events and opportunities

Who you are...

  • Experienced. We are looking for someone with previous experience in a B2B marketing and/or product role with a proven understanding of customer story-telling and narrative. Experience in either an in-house or agency environment will be considered. Previous experience in the technology industry is preferred, but we are open to any B2B background.

  • Content creation. Knowledge of digital content publication, and a basic understanding of video and audio production would be beneficial.

  • Stakeholder management. An ability to manage a wide range of complex stakeholders is essential – both internally and externally, including the management of outside vendors/agencies. An ability to work with c level execs and influence at a senior level both internally and externally is essential.

  • Technologically savvy. Ability to learn about new industries and develop a deep understanding of the market, our solutions and our competition.

  • Excellent Communication. Good writing skills and an understanding of what makes a compelling narrative.

  • Energy and Enthusiasm. Passion for Great Work.

  • A True Team Player. Ability to establish relationships with a wide range of people

  • Detail oriented. Impeccable attention to detail is essential.
