What Is Architect Success?

The Salesforce Architect Success team invests in our partner ecosystem to accelerate the growth and overall solution competency of ecosystem Architects in alignment with our go to market strategy by region, domain, product, and industry. We teach at scale how to design, plan, and craft multi-cloud use-case solutions on the Salesforce Customer 360 Platform. Our mission is to democratize the knowledge and know-how necessary to accelerate the successful implementation of frictionless customer experiences that generate business value at scale.

We are hiring a Sr. Manager for the B2C Solution Architect Program. You will work with the Lead Evangelist for the B2C Solution Architect Program and the broader Architect Success team to extend, mature, and drive the adoption and democratization of our program’s enablement. Your mission will be to accelerate the adoption of the B2C Solution Architect as a career path in the Salesforce ecosystem by championing marketing-centric use-case solutions leveraging the Salesforce portfolio of Marketing Products.

Life on the Architect Success Team

As a critical member of a team responsible for driving the growth and maturation of B2C Solution Architects in the Salesforce ecosystem, you will collaborate closely with TMP, CSG, Alliances and Channels, Sales, and Trailhead teams to meet the market demand for Salesforce Architects. You will design, develop, and deliver enablement for our credentialed programs that foster a world-class community of educated and successful Architects that can accelerate the success and revenue growth of our mutual customers. You will join a team of highly motivated individuals from technical and sales backgrounds whose core mission is to engage, educate and enable our Consulting partners for the benefit of our mutual customers. You will spearhead the Architect perspective on how to maximize the business value generated by the Salesforce Customer 360 Platform for marketing and digital engagement use-cases. This role will report to the Vice President of the Architect Success Program and Director of the B2C Solution Architect Program.

Desirable Salesforce Marketing Product Experience

As this role will focus on marketing centric multi-cloud use-cases within the B2C domain, you should have experience with most of the following Salesforce Marketing and Digital Engagement products. You should also have a POV on how these products integrate with the Salesforce Customer 360 Platform and B2C Commerce.

  • 360 Audiences

Preferred Skills and Experience

While we don’t expect candidates to live up to all of these experience requirements, we are looking for candidates that feel their experience and aptitude aligns with most of these items:

  • Business and technology expertise with 10+ years of experience in B2C domain solution delivery

  • 5+ years of delivery experience as an Architect, Program Manager, or Developer in the B2C domain with deep technical proficiency in B2C Commerce, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Platform, and Heroku

  • Demonstrate a practical and tactical understanding of Salesforce’s B2C Customer Data Strategy, its guiding principles, constraints, and how to leverage it within multi-cloud marketing-centric use-cases

  • Tactical experience leveraging Marketing Cloud as a product to deliver frictionless digital engagement experiences powered by Marketing Cloud, the Salesforce Customer 360 Platform, and B2C Commerce Cloud or eCommerce systems

  • An innovative perspective describing how to augment digital engagement experiences by leveraging the Salesforce portfolio of Marketing Products (Audience Studio, 360 Audiences, Datorama, Interaction Studio, etc)

  • Proven success managing marketing programs, products, or projects that deliver success outcomes generating business value at scale (either at a program, product, engineering team, or quality assurance team level)

  • Expert level proficiency delivering multi-cloud marketing or digital engagement use-cases on the Salesforce Platform leveraging the Salesforce Marketing and Digital Engagement suite of products

  • Excellent presentation skills and an ability to deliver enablement sessions in both high touch and scale environments (ex. webinars, virtual meetings, and pre-recorded video vignettes)

Architect Success Team Responsibilities

Focusing on marketing and digital engagement multi-cloud use-cases, you will be expected to deliver on these responsibilities for enablement priorities. This includes curriculum courses, webinars, and high-touch enablement for Salesforce partners and customers:

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver enablement journeys that grow qualified and credentialed B2C Solution Architects in the Salesforce ecosystem

  • Plan and deliver enablement webinars, workshops, hands-on labs, and other programs embracing solution-driven approaches to multi-cloud use-cases that are relevant to Architects and scalable across the entire Salesforce ecosystem

  • Keep abreast with the latest product offerings in the Salesforce B2C domain and the Digital 360 / Single Source of Truth Suite of Products

  • Capture and develop multi-cloud use-case best practices in partnership with other Salesforce Teams and our Partner ecosystem for marketing / digital engagement centric multi-cloud use-cases

  • Create courses, accelerators, hands-on assets, solution kits, and other forms of enablement supporting successful delivery of multi-cloud use-case solutions on the Salesforce Customer 360 Platform

  • Build and maintain exceptional relationships with senior sales stakeholders in Product, Sales, Partner Account Management, Sales, Solution Engineering and Customer Success Group to understand and align with their needs, business challenges and company enablement priorities

  • Contribute content to and moderate digital discussions with the Salesforce Architect community

  • Provide regular updates on status and progress to senior Architect Success program stakeholders

  • Identify business and technical enablement gaps and work across teams to facilitate content development and delivery prioritization and trade off discussions

  • Leverage metrics, kpis, and adoption analysis to determine prioritization of enablement tools, programs and processes

Professional Qualifications

  • Broad-based business and technology expertise with 10+ years of experience in B2C domain solution delivery (either in planning, program management, quality assurance, or engineering)

  • 5+ years of delivery experience as an Architect, Program Manager, or Developer in the B2C domain with deep technical proficiency in B2C Commerce, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Heroku, Data Strategy

  • 3+ years or implementation experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, B2C Commerce, or the Salesforce Platform

  • Experience in professional services, consulting, and customer-facing environments

  • Able to work effectively with a variety of personality types in a consultative environment

  • Can confidently hold team members accountable to their commitments

  • Quality minded -- and understands how to empower teams to deliver quality

  • Able to manage remote / virtual project teams in a fast-paced delivery environment

  • Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities across multiple in-parallel initiatives

  • Communicates effectively across all facets of the team, and establish a communication plan to facilitate status and cadence between the program stakeholders
