Finance Professional FINREP Reporting

Our Group and Regulatory Reporting team plays an integral role at Santander. As part of this specialist team you'll be responsible for assisting with the planning, preparation and reporting of our FINREP returns - not only to our Madrid FINREP reporting team, but also to the PRA.

What you'll be doing

* Reconciling accounting information between Financial Statements and FINREP templates
* Collaborating and preparing FINREP templates submitted to the PRA and Global Head Office on a quarterly basis
* Helping to ensure SOX and internal controls compliance
* Producing Mortgage Lending and Administration Return (MLAR) and Help to Buy reports
* Reconciling fee requests from the Regulator and assisting in the fee budget preparation
* Reviewing, analysing and collecting information to report on various adhoc data requests from PRA or Group

What we're looking for

* Financial services experience
* An understanding of bank structures/ basic grasp of how financial companies operate
* Experience with reporting
* Good hands on experience in Excel - v-lookups, pivot tables and Essbase/Smartview
* Proven understanding of Financial Consolidations would be ideal
* Pursuing relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) would be beneficial
