Risk Reporting Analyst - 12 Months FTC - Milton Keynes

We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Risk Reporting Analyst where you will be part of the Risk MI Reporting team based in Milton Keynes.

The primary purpose of the role is to provide accurate and timely MI reporting to key stakeholders engaged in the management of Credit Risk.

The day to day activity will involve producing MI reports, performing control checks, developing and implementing changes/enhancements and new reporting as required, also responding to queries and resolving issues.

As a Risk Reporting Analyst your main responsibilities will be

* Effectively produce reporting for Risk Teams, Collections & Recoveries and Santander Group utilising the full range of tools and techniques to required timeframes and reporting cycles and agreed SLA.
* Interpret risk data accurately and present it in a way that accords with Group format and standards and understand key business drivers and performance indicators.
* Be the technical expert on reporting data and data sources for particular areas of the reporting portfolios and act as an advisor to Risk management and other business areas.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and policy standards and ensure data production is robust and accurate.
* Analysis of risk data to identify portfolio issues and trends.
* Design, code and document programs written in SAS or SQL and opportunity to build/transfer reports to SAS VA and Micro Strategy.
* Take ownership to ensure that all relevant aspects of the reports / programs / data are tested appropriately.

Minimum skills and experience required:

* MI / Reporting experience preferably gained in a financial services area.
* Able to develop reports and programs with technical skills in SAS, SQL, Excel.
* Proven experience within a pressured environment working to tight deadlines.
* Ability to integrate data from different and potentially conflicting sources of data.
* Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
* Some experience of project planning and control.
* Maintain momentum when obstacles arise.
