Janitor I- Per Diem

Job Description

Summary: You will be responsible for maintaining the floors of the Phase I Clinic by performing routine cleanings as scheduled. You will also perform a variety of housekeeping duties to keep the clinic neat, orderly, and sanitary.

Duties include:

• Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, mirrors and walls.
• Notify crew leader of low supply inventory.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Disinfect commonly used items, door handles, tables, and chairs.
• Makes up beds and changes linens.
• Clean and maintain restrooms and showers.
• Notify crew leader or supervisors of building repairs.
• Dust furniture and fixtures
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing.
