Internal Communications Internship

The Internal Communications Intern supports the team in making this happen through the successful implementation of TomTom’s employer branding and employee communications strategies. This is a collaborative role that sits within Corporate Communications and works with teams across the rest of Marketing, including the social media, events, and creative teams. Interested?
The impact you'll make
  • Supporting the team in securing, generating and editing editorial content for key internal communications channels;
  • Active participation in the development of communication plans and producing material for key communication moments, such as product launches and company results;
  • Supporting with key events and the communications around them;
  • Content development and management for the global intranet site;
  • Various communication deliverables;
  • Weekly internal newsletter;
  • CSR and sustainability communication and global employee engagement support.
What you'll need
  • You should be enrolled as a full-time student for the entire internship duration.
  • Due to work permit regulations, you have EU citizenship or have enrolled in a Dutch university.
  • You like our brand; you are energetic, fun, and friendly. With your positive attitude and energy, you can work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment while thinking innovatively;
  • You are currently studying Communications or Marketing;
  • You are a strong communicator with fantastic interpersonal and writing skills in English and Dutch
  • You identify yourself as being proactive, well organized, and hands-on, with a strong willingness to learn;

Internship incentives with TomTom
  • 1100 Euros/month (gross salary based on full-time work)
  • 6 internship contract, with the option of extending to 9 or 12 months by mutual agreement.
