Business Analyst

Summary of the Role 


The Regional Business Analyst is a critical role in the client management function of Willis Towers Watson to provide analytical and consulting support to the segments and geographies and drive strategic sales initiatives across the region. Reporting to the Head of Client Management and Head of South Asia, the business analyst will work closely with the geography and Line of Business, the colleague will play a pivotal role in business and sales analysis, sales strategy and strategic sales initiatives. The business analyst will also support the South Asia leader on select client management and other strategic initiatives. 


More specific responsibilities from Asia Client Management perspective will include but not limited to:

  • Revenue base-lining, client segmentation and client planning
  • Key account planning
  • Strategic sales initiatives including sales campaigns
  • New business/sales opportunity identification
  • Partner and M&A enablement support as required

Specific responsibilities supporting the South Asia leader will include but not limited to:

  • Project manage South Asia initiatives "EUR" (Organic/ In-organic opportunity assessment/ geographic reviews/ market entry/ exit etc.)
  • Communications support "EUR" quarterly Singapore/ geographic communications within South Asia
  • Client Management/ Client function coordination in Singapore "EUR" Work with sales operations, Client/ TMO analysis, TMO research, Client meeting preparation 

The key requirements of the role include:

  • Exceptional analytic and strategic thinking skills
  • Prior experience in analysis and strategy development; sales strategy analysis and development would be an added advantage
  • Experience in working with senior stake-holders
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in change management work is a plus
  • Strong facilitation skills "EUR" able to use inclusive and collaborative styles to manage ambiguity and gain agreement
  • Ability to successfully work on multiple projects and ensure quality deliverables on time and within budget
  • Availability to travel on an as needed basis
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate profile could be as follows:

  • Singaporeans only 
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a consulting firm
  • Worked on multiple analytical and strategic engagements
  • Good experience of project management
  • Bachelor"EURTMs degree in Engineering, Economics or Sciences with MBA (preferred)
