Claim Executive


Claim handling

  • Under the instruction and supervision of Claim manager and/or other assigned personnel for at least first 6 month
  • Manage & handle assigned claims, to  ensure claim to be handled properly and effectively in line with WTW policies & procedures
  • Assist clients in setting claim strategy, preparation of claim documents, coordination with loss surveyor, loss adjuster and negotiation with insurers during claim process
  • Proactively cooperate and engage the relevant Business Leaders and the account team for difficult and complicated claims and take the role of claim advocate for assigned Clients 
  • Open dossier for claim notice from clients, follow up and frequently update clients regarding the ongoing claim process
  • Build up and keep good working relationship with clients, internal stakeholders, insurers and loss adjusters
  • Analyze data on all claims and produce monthly and occasional Claims Reports for Clients and the account team
  • Participate in sales meetings for large clients as required
  • Manage claim administration including filing, input data into the system and maintaining clients’ documents

Risk survey

  • Participate in underwriting surveys for designated accounts, prepare underwriting information and risk profile reports to assist the placement of client insurance programmes with guidance & support from superiors 
  • Arrange risk engineering surveys through discussions with WTW account teams, clients and underwriter engineers.
  • Ensure that all reports and other deliverables are prepared and ready in a timely manner
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Willis Towers Watson’s guidelines & procedures
  • Other tasks assigned by Line Managers and the Company


  • University degree (or equivalent) in insurance, engineering discipline and related risk management qualifications or relevant accreditations is preferable
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • At least 1 years’ experience in insurance, engineering or related risk management qualifications 
  • Self-starter, with good interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively relate to individuals at medium levels, able to build strong relationships with clients, brokers, loss adjusters, and insurers
  • Good communication & presentation skills, to explain complex technical ideas to people from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Strong consulting and negotiation skills
  • Autonomous & detailed-oriented
  • Good problem solving & time management skills
  • Team-work as well as the ability to work independently
  • Comfortable travelling occasionally
  • Be able to work under high pressure
  • Excellent time management & organisation skills
  • Client-oriented, innovative and critical sense
  • Fluent English in both written and spoken skills
