Testing Environment Manager

The Role 
The Test Environment Manager is accountable for ensuring that the hardware and software of the test environments will support all planned testing activities. This does not include building and maintaining the operating system but will include ensuring that the environments remain valid for testing and contain baselined agreed data for testing.
  • Partner with Corporate Risk & Broking Engineering and Application Development to deliver high quality projects and platforms to meet business needs.
  • Partner with Corporate IT and other teams to deliver stable valid environments for testing.
  • Provide primary interface to technical support groups
  • Maintain schedules for shared/integrated test environments
  • Administer and maintain testing tool set-up
  • Provide technical consulting to project teams
  • Support Non-Functional testing
  • Monitor and measure environment availability
  • Set up virtual services required for testing 
  • Provision test data and mask data as appropriate
  • Support automated testing as part of a continuous integration process
The Requirements  
"EUR- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is required. Experience can be substituted for Degree.
"EUR- Good interpersonal and communication skills and be a team player. Communication between DBA"EURTMs application developers, network engineers and management key
"EUR- Experience in structuring and scheduling work within complex teams and complex IT operating structures.
"EUR- Technical background preferably having worked with 2 or more of the following:
"EUR- Windows Scheduler; running batch jobs
"EUR- Azure Cloud deployments and IaaS/PaaS configurations
"EUR- Microsoft Test Manager configured and run from TFS/VSTS
"EUR- DevOps processes with CI/CD within a Microsoft .Net environment.
"EUR-Demonstrable ability to pick up and understand complex and technical IT architectures and to be willing to learn environment management and get hands on where necessary 
"EUR- Demonstrable understanding of modern approaches to managing test environments including deployment automation, moving towards automating all test environment activities.
