Why we're hiring:
Our Legal team are hiring. Come and join us and act as in-house counsel for all the WPP agencies in the Middle East and North Africa region (11 countries).
What you'll be doing:
Reporting to the Associate General Counsel -India, Middle East and North Africa your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the team on the legal and commercial aspects of commercial contracts and agreements, including negotiating and drafting a range of contracts, creative content, IT supplier agreements, technology licences, data processing agreements and non-disclosure agreements, vendor contracts, talent agreements etc.
- Managing litigation and other legal disputes.
- Supporting company secretarial tasks.
- Providing timely, practical, business-oriented legal advice.
- Assisting in legal research.
- Handling day-to-day legal tasks.
- Managing administrative tasks including updating and maintaining corporate records.
What you'll need:
- Post qualified experience, or similar experience level/work experience. (ideally 2 years +).
- English + Arabic language skills preferred.
- Be practicing law in a reputable law firm, multinational corporation and/or public company.
- Experience in general corporate, commercial contracts preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Negotiation and communication skills.
