P&C Actuarial Junior Analyst
We are looking for a Pricing actuary to join WTW as a Junior Analyst in our general insurance practice within the wider Italy Insurance Consulting and Technology (“ICT”) line of business.
As an actuarial consultant for Pricing Non-Life, you will carry out, among others, pricing analysis and predictive modelling for our clients, both local and international insurers. To do this, you can use WTW's own and market-leading pricing software such as Radar and Emblem. You will play a relevant role in the growth of the practice and will have the opportunity to continue developing a world-class career.
The Role
- Relevant participation in the practice of WTW ICT (Insurance Consulting and Technology) and in the achievement of the business plan and budgets
- Participation in the development of projects from start to finish.
- Direct contribution to customer success through the application of technical knowledge and experience
- Contribution to the training and development of the rest of the actuarial team
- Development of relationships of trust with local and international clients based on effective communication and the execution of projects efficiently and with high quality standards.
- Development of new opportunities and improvement of existing relationships that facilitate the achievement of the objectives of the practice
- Contribution to the development of new tools and solutions
- Interaction with colleagues from other regions and WTW practices. Building internal relationships and effective collaboration in cross-functional teams

Qualifications
The Requirements
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or any other related quantitative fields.
- Non-life insurance background, up to 3 years of experience in pricing and predictive modelling of Non-Life or General Insurance and/or consulting roles.
- Qualified actuary is a plus.
- Well-developed verbal, written and spoken skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, especially in presentation and report writing.
- Good time management skills, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently.
- Self-driven achiever, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work on client teams and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and Access.
- Availability to travel to our Italian offices or client site on an as needed basis.
- Knowledge of WTW Pricing Suite such as Emblem, Radar or Classifier is a plus
- Knowledge of free software such as Python or R.
