Cómo Ser un Referente para el Talento Diverso en el Sector Farmacéutico y Salud

El miércoles 17 enero de a las 18:30 a 20:00 tendrá lugar un evento de buenas prácticas dirigido a profesionales de Recursos Humanos de las empresas del sector Farmacéutico y Salud y a sus ERG LGBTQ+ (Grupos de Recursos para el Personal, por sus siglas en inglés).

 

Este  evento tiene como objetivo conocer y sensibilizar sobre la situación de las personas LGBTQ+ en el ámbito del trabajo, así como trabajar la diversidad e inclusión de forma efectiva y transversal para la atracción y retención de talento. Conocer y compartir buenas prácticas en este sector, como impulso a la innovación y creatividad.

How to Serve as a Reference for Diverse Talent in the Pharmaceutical and Health Sector

 

Join us on Wednesday, January 17th, from 18:30 to 20:00 for an event focused on best practices. This event is specifically designed for Human Resources professionals in the Pharmaceutical and Health sector and their LGBTQ+ ERGs (Employee Resource Groups).

 

The primary objective of this event is to gain insights into and raise awareness about the experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals in the workplace. Additionally, the event aims to promote effective and comprehensive efforts towards diversity and inclusion, with a specific focus on talent attraction and retention in this sector. It also seeks to facilitate the sharing and learning of best practices, thereby fostering innovation and creativity.

    I have specialized in health innovation for 15 years. I have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biomedicine from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, CORE from Harvard Business School, and a PMD from ESADE. I care about my plant population and enjoy the cultural scene from live music to contemporary art, and attending conferences in my free time. My career in health innovation has included positions in big pharma, research centers, hospitals, start-ups, venture capital, and government agencies. I have held technical and leadership roles in operations, strategy, R&D, value creation, and investment, building value proposals that involve different stakeholders and countries. Focusing on impact, inclusivity, and sustainability, I entered politics as Chief of Staff in the Department of University, Innovation, and Digital Transformation in the Government of Navarra. In recent months, I have improved the European environment for innovation as an Advisor on Innovation, Industrial Policy, and Digital at the European Parliament in Brussels. On the social side, I founded and presided over PRISMA, an association for diversity in affective-sexual and gender in science, technology, and innovation, and ComunicaBiotec, an association for biotechnology communicators. I previously led the Health 2.0 Madrid Digital Health meetings. As an immunologist, I have published various articles in specialized journals, mentored various start-ups, and participated in the faculty of various acceleration programs. I also write opinion articles on innovation in various Spanish media.
