Previously, I have completed two secondments with a national bank and I regularly act for their trust and estates division in respect of all contentious matters including contentious probate and breach of trust claims For the last two years I have sat on the Law Society's LGBT+ Division Committee.

I am a founding member of the Committee of the LGBTQ+ Lawyers Division of the Law Society and a board director of OUTvertising, the LGBTQ+ network for people working in advertising and marketing. I am a trustee for leading international modern dance and ballet company, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, and a Board Advisor to TLC Lions- an organization which ignites emotion in the workplace helping businesses progress their inclusion strategies through storytelling.     I'm Head of Legal & Business Affairs for BBC Global News, a BBC commercial subsidiary responsible for the BBC World News TV channel, BBC.com, and the BBC News and Sport apps outside the UK. My team advises on the full range of legal and business affairs matters affecting the business globally. Before I joined the BBC I worked on the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and prior to that I was Head of Content Legal Advice at Channel 5. I'm a member of the BBC's staff LGBTQ+ network, BBC Pride, and recently joined the Equality & Diversity Steering Group at Lincoln's Inn, one of the four Inns of Court for barristers in England & Wales.

    Netanya is Legal Counsel at G-Research, a quantitive finance research firm. She is co-chair and co-founder of the London Bisexual Network (the ‘LBN’). The LBN is a network for bisexual people and allies working in finance, law and professional services. Since 2016, the LBN has promoted bi-visibility and inclusion by organising industry events and providing training to employers. Netanya is also the bisexual representative on the Law Society’s LGBT+ Division Committee. The Law Society is the professional body responsible for representing solicitors in England and Wales. The Law Society is committed to promoting inclusion in the legal profession and the Committee provides an opportunity for LGBT+ solicitors to have their voices heard.

I advise clients on a range of claims, including road traffic accidents, accidents at work, criminal injuries compensation authority claims, tripping accidents, dental claims and a variety of claims arising from clinical negligence against hospitals and doctors, including misdiagnosis of medical conditions, birth injuries and negligent operations. I am currently advising and representing some of those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire. I am a speaker on LGBTQ+ and BAME issues.
