LGBT+ Book Group in Glasgow (Argyle St)
The next meeting of our book group, focusing on books with a queer theme - fiction or nonfiction, by queer and non-queer authors alike, all under the broad umbrella of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Our first book for 2019 is Sarah Waters' magnificent Fingersmith, the basis of both a BBC drama and the Korean film The Handmaiden, and a landmark in historical fiction since it was first published cementing Waters' status as a writer.
The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, and the meeting will be run by a member of our staff who is themselves queer.
