Networking Strategy and Job Search

Research suggests that up to 70% of jobs are never listed and upwards of 80% of jobs are filled through the network. This makes networking an essential part of your job search strategy.

In this session we look at how you approach your job search strategically. From building a shortlist of companies to setting up job alerts and making them work for you without being overwhelmed.

Once the job search is in place your networking becomes essential to securing an interview and a potential job. In this session, we will demonstrate how to leverage your network to gain access to the decision-makers and influencers. With a focus on LinkedIn, MyGwork, and other networking forums, we look at how you can position yourself as an attractive candidate to increase your chances of a successful job search.
