Managing Director - Accounting & Reporting Advisory
    Stout
At Stout, I serve as a Managing Director in our Accounting & Reporting Advisory Group, and I am the co-leader of Stout’s People of Color Employee Resource Group. I was born in Ghana, raised in Canada, and am now living in Chicago with my wife, our 10-year-old daughter, and mini golden doodle puppy. I have over 15 years of experience providing audit and advisory support to both public and private-sector clients, including financial reporting, technical accounting, internal controls, and transaction advisory. My expertise spans across a broad range of industries, such as business and industrial services, life sciences and healthcare, technology, media, entertainment, and financial services. I advise both publicly traded and privately owned companies on post-acquisition integration, including finance transformation, application rationalization, financial reporting, and internal controls. I am a subject matter expert on accounting standard adoptions, business combinations, and internal controls. Prior to joining Stout, I held management positions with Deloitte and EY and have led the technical accounting functional area of global finance transformation initiatives for Fortune 100 companies. As an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, I am excited to participate in this session to continue the ongoing conversation about equity and representation in the workplace. My wish for DEI&B is for organizations, and society at large, to get to a place where inclusion is so engrained in our culture, that diversity, however one measures that term, is the norm rather than a key priority that we need to discuss and debate.
