  I joined GSK in 2014 as a Laboratory Analyst in the Quality labs for one of the manufacturing sites, working on life-saving medication for cancer and HIV. I spent around 4 years in the lab, moving up to senior analyst before I joined the Quality Data Team, where I now work as a Senior Data Analyst, helping to keep our lab systems running as smoothly as possible. Outside of my day job, I'm an active member and leader of GSK's LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group, Spectrum. I came out as Bi at work around 2017, and have been working with Spectrum ever since. I currently sit on the UK lead team of Spectrum as the Bi+ and Health & Wellbeing Leads. My aims are to make talking about things such as LGBTQ+ and hidden disabilities part of everyday conversation, and to reduce the stigma bisexual people face and combat bi-erasure. He is the Co-Founder of Queermunity Magazine, a community-focused magazine that aims to amplify the voices and celebrate the stories of LGBT+ people and their allies. Michael volunteered as Head of Stages for Bi Pride UK and was involved in the organisation of the first Bi Pride event in the UK. Known as The Rainbow Coach, Michael practices as a Transformational Life Coach and is a mentor for Learnest.
