WorkPride Panel (in Spanish): Apertura institucional: "Sociedad abierta e inclusiva (LGTBI+)"


En este panel inaugural de una serie de diálogos en español que trae WorkPride 2022, abordaremos el papel fundamental de organizaciones en las transformaciones sociales colectivas, especialmente en relación con una mayor sensibilización de la realidad de trabajadoras/es LGBTQ+ y la persistencia de discriminación en sus espacios laborales.

    Mauricio is the Manager for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at EY Latam North, he is also Co - President of the LGBT+ Britcham Pride Alliance of the British Chamber of Commerce in Mexico and member of the DEI Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Mexico, as well as member of the Advisory Board of the leading NGO in non-toxic masculinities in Mexico GENDES. Mauricio majored in Political Science and Public Administration at Mexico City’s Universidad Iberoamericana. He holds an M.A. in Human Rights from the same university, and a specialty diploma in Immigration Studies from Mexico’s Colegio de la Frontera Norte. Throughout his career, Mauricio has worked extensively to promote and advance human rights, particularly regarding discrimination in LGTBQ and indigenous populations. He has also advocated for gender equality and sexual and reproductive rights. Mauricio has worked for numerous local and federal Mexican government agencies, such as Mexico City’s Health Ministry, Mexico City’s Council to Prevent and Eradicate Discrimination, Mexico’s National Commission to Prevent and Eradicate Violence Against Women, and Mexico’s Ministry of Labor.
