WorkPride Panel: Shining a Light on LGBTQ+ Health and Wellbeing

This international panel explores the impact of confinement, isolation, and social distancing on the mental health and wellbeing of the LGBTQ+ community. It offers a range of perspectives from the latest academic research in the field of psychology to front-line counselling.

The panel discussion will cover and promote understanding of the latest research on identity as well as LGBTQ+ mental health, wellbeing and support. It will also provide an overview of socio-demographic inequality and its wide-ranging impact on a range of sexual orientations and gender identities. The panel will finish off by laying out a number of support options LGBTQ+ peers can rely on when affected by this inequality.
