AB InBev wins Supplier Diversity Program of the Year!

We were delighted to announce AB InBev was recognized by the European Diversity Awards 2022 and won the "Supplier Diversity Programme of the Year".

The company has made a significant drive to grow and develop our supplier diversity initiatives into a robust, measurable, and holistic program, as part of D&I council pillar to embed D&I efforts throughout company’s value chain. Through a range of activities and events – from ensuring that diversity and inclusion is an essential part of AB InBev’s supplier selection and relationship processes, to trainings, fairs, "Meet the buyer" events and more – employees have been able to grow business with diverse suppliers over the past year. This award is a fantastic accolade to the dedication of AB InBev teams and strong collaboration with partners.

Launched in 2010, the European Diversity Awards (EDA) are now firmly established as the continent’s most prestigious and widely respected diversity event. Attended by businesses, politicians and the media, the EDA recognizes those individuals and organizations whose outstanding leadership has made a genuine difference to the equality, diversity and inclusion agenda. 

About the Supplier Diversity Program: 

This award recognizes and celebrates the work of a corporate organization that is driving forward the supplier diversity and inclusion agenda in Europe through programmes that specially encourage the participation of minority owned businesses in corporate supply chains. Minority owned businesses are defined as firms that are 51% or more owned by women, ethnic minority, LGBT and disabled business owners.
